For Christians, does the fact that Jesus' own people, his fellow jews 2000 years ago did not?

That His own people wouldn't believe in Him was prophesied of the Messiah. So your objection is actually proof that Christ is who he said he was. Maybe you should try reading something before you try to critique it.
